Description
Just 10 minutes walk along the towpath from my boat mooring on the Chesterfield Canal, is a River Ryton flood plain. This sculpture is based upon sunlight reflecting on the seed heads of grasses growing across the flood plain. It is made from fused glass, framed in mild steel painted black. The frame is constructed to allow the sculpture to oscillate in a breeze.
Dimensions are 110cm h x 50cm w x 30cm d.
